February 16, 2024 - Speaker - Missy Miculka, Parents For Missoula High School Baseball.

Our next meeting will be at Famous Dave's restaurant 2915 North Reserve Steet on February 16th. Our speaker is Missy Miculka, Representative for Parents For Missoula High School Baseball. This group raises money to launch Missoula's first High School Baseball season in 2025. There are 21 High School baseball teams across the state but none in Missoula. Missy will discuss the importance of providing Missoula's youth this opportunity to grow and be part of a team.

Famous Dave's doors open at 11:00 am. Please arrive around 11:30 am to 12:00 pm to order meals. Our meeting begins at 12:00 noon.

February 9, 2024 - CANCELLED!

Jaker's Restaurant has announced their closing before our scheduled February 9 meeting. Therefore, the February 9th meeting is cancelled and the speaker will be scheduled at a later date. 

The February 16th meeting will proceed at Famous Dave's restaurant, 2915 North Reserve, Missoula. You may peruse their menu online.

The speaker will be Denley Loge, current House District 14 representative and candidate for Montana Senate District 45. Denley has served 4 terms as Republican Representative of House District 14. He is running for Montana Senate District 45, which covers the western side of Missoula County, all of Mineral County, and part of Sanders County. House District 97 Representative Lyn Hellegaard will the be speaking on 2023 legislative action on elections and subsequent litigation, specifically House Bill 892 to prevent people from voting in more than one location (double voting) during the same election. For further reading the bill language passed can be found here and the resulting text of the Montana Code Annotated can be found at 13-35-210.

The speaker will be Lyssa Schei Davids, Grassroots Engagement Director at Americans for Prosperity. Lyssa will discuss her goal of helping expand the volunteer network and planning events to promote Republican candidates in critical races in Montana.
