Susan Cundifff to Speak July 15

This Friday July 15 our guest speaker will be Susan Cundiff, candidate for House District 99.   This district encompasses southeast Missoula including the South Hills area.   Susan is also our new First Vice President for Pachyderm. 

Susan earned her BA in Communication Studies with a minor in Native American Studies at the University of Montana, and served with the Montana Army National Guard 3669th Maintenance Company.  She currently works at UM in administration.

July 8 Speaker - Americans for Prosperity

THIS FRIDAY July 8 at Jaker's, the speaker will be Chris Pulyer, Western Montana Regional Director of Americans for Prosperity. He will discuss what AFP Montana is doing for Americans who want to make an impact for economic freedom at the federal. state, and local level. 

He will talk about issues for this election cycle, such as the governor's veto in the last legislative session of the bill to provide education tax credits for parents of special needs children.

Back to Jaker's!

Great news  - Jaker's has re-opened after extensive remodeling since the kitchen fire last February.  We plan to begin meeting there again JULY 8.    Speaker to be announced.   Please arrive around 11:30 if you plan to order lunch.  See you there!

Summer Schedule

June 17 - Meeting at Stone of Accord, 4951 North Reserve. Speaker:  Nancy Schlepp, spokesperson for the controversial Black Butte Copper Mine proposed for the Smith River Basin.   Noon, order off menu.

June 24 - No lunch meeting. Pachyderm members are encouraged to attend the June 24 the State GOP Platform Convention at the Hilton Garden Inn, sponsored by State Pachyderm.   Lunch will be paid by the local club.  Please sit at one of our sponsored tables.  8 am, 3720 North Reserve.

July 1 - no meeting due to July 4 weekend.

July 8 - TBD

July 15 - Our speaker will be member Susan Cundiff, candidate for House District 99.    Stone of Accord, noon.

New meeting place to be determined.   We are trying to get back into Jaker's as soon as their remodeling is done.

We will be holding our regular meetings at the Westside Lanes and Fun Center for May, June and July.    The room is large and is located off to the right as you come in the main door. You may order typical lunch fare off the menu.   (Please stay tuned for any last-minute changes if our hosts have a banquet planned for that night and we need to meet somewhere else.)

Anchor Heidi Meili to speak at FVP

This Friday March 18 our speaker will be Heidi Meili, morning news anchor with KECI-TV news.  The meeting will be held at China Garden in Stephens Center.  Open for lunch at 11.

China Garden is in Stephens Center, near the corner of Brooks and Stephens, behind CVS and Walgreen's.

Mar 11 -  Mark Holyoak, Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation's Director of Communications.  He will be talking about public land importance and RMEF's efforts to enhance it.  


Mar 18 -  Heidi Meili, She is the long-time news anchor for NBC Television who now hosts the morning news.  For many years she did the evening news.
